New single by Icelandic band Hugar out now

To celebrate International Piano Day on 29th March 2021, Icelandic band Hugar release their new single Vísur Vatnsenda-Rósu. Translating as Vatnsenda-Rosa’s Verses, the piece is Hugar’s very own take on an old Icelandic folk song about the sorrows of love. It comes as the first cut of the upcoming 5 track EP Þjóðlög/Folk Songs, the band’s debut project for XXIM Records, set for release digitally on 28th May 2021.
