“In keeping with the experimental nature of the middle third of this album, Weave was another forage into new territories. To break the 4|4 structure of most of my electronic compositions, I wanted to introduce something a little different. The rhythm of Weave somehow made its way inside my head to a point where I had to write it and see what it sounded like. The input of Myles O’Callaghan really brought this track together – featuring on drums, conga & shaker. The timing of the Elephant Walk drum pattern & the various echo effects gel the synthesizer parts together and allows the listener to pick out a number of different rhythms throughout the track – hence the title.” — Paddy Mulcahy on Weave
