Fingers, Be Rain by Olivia Belli available now

With Fingers, Be Rain, Italian pianist and composer Olivia Belli releases the single and music video to the next piece of her upcoming album Sol Novo.

“I love the rain, its play of color and light, the sound of the drops hitting the leaves, the earth, or the water. It is one of the strongest expressions of life by the nature. The piece consists of a series of quick repeated notes as I could order my fingers to become delicate, unpredictable, fantasious like rain.”

The album title Sol Novo is a reference to Dante’s The Divine Comedy and could be translated to ‘new sun’ or ‘new day.’ Living in Italy’s rural Marche region, located between the mountains and the sea, Olivia draws inspiration from the nature around her and captures its metamorphosis in her music.

Sol Novo will be out on October 8.
