Ed Carlsen announces new EP Gravity

Italian composer and producer will finish the trilogy of his work on the theme of finding ‘home’ with the upcoming EP Gravity.

After the album Morning Hour which was a reflection on what home is, to project Grains of Gold, a more introspective and accurate description of the home, Gravity symbolizes the return to the roots and completion of Carlsen’s journey, having found his way back home.

The title alludes to what he describes as an “inevitable force – one that pulls you back to your roots, but also one that takes you on a journey to find ‘home’ within yourself through life.” It’s also a record that contemplates the loss of stability and certainty and finding our place in a world beset by anxiety and unease.

The first single to introduce the EP is On Eloquence, a center-piece piano track with subtle hints of electronica. Stream now.
