Eydís Evensen announces new EP Frost

The announcement comes with a first single, The Light I

Eydís Evensen continues to draw inspiration from her homeland and this time will share a musical journey through one of the Icelandic winters.

The Light I represents the transition into spring and the return of life to the land. Uplifting and assured, the notes shimmer like sunlight spreading across a frosted landscape, quiet pauses adding to the beauty.

“It’s such a hard thing to go through, this darkness, but the rising of the sun earlier and earlier as spring nears is hugely important for Icelanders,” says the pianist and composer.
